MANDATORY NOTICE: Annual Fire Inspection – October 1–2

Dear Residents,

Please be advised that our mandatory annual fire inspection will take place on Thursday, October 1st and Friday, October 2nd, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

During this inspection, the City of Dallas, authorized fire inspection personnel, and our Maintenance Team will require access to ALL apartment homes to complete the required fire and life-safety inspections.

IMPORTANT – ACCESS IS REQUIRED

Because this is a City-required inspection, we are unable to accommodate individual appointment times, preferred entry times, or resident schedules. Inspectors will access apartment homes based on the order and timing of the inspection process throughout the two-day period.

Residents do not need to be home for the inspection. Management and Maintenance will provide authorized access as necessary.

Please prepare your home accordingly:

  • All pets must be properly secured prior to 9:00 AM on both inspection days. Pets should be crated or secured in an area that will allow inspectors and Maintenance to safely access the apartment.

  • Please ensure there are no obstructions preventing access to smoke detectors, fire safety equipment, mechanical areas, or other areas that may require inspection.

  • Fire alarms may sound periodically throughout the inspection. Please do not be alarmed. This is part of the required testing and inspection process.

  • Maintenance and inspection personnel may enter your apartment at any time between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on October 1st or October 2nd.

This will be our final annual in-home inspection, and access to all apartment homes is required for completion of the City inspection.

We understand that entering every apartment home can be an inconvenience; however, fire and life-safety inspections are necessary to maintain compliance and help ensure the safety of our entire community. We cannot make exceptions or reschedule individual apartments around personal availability.

Please plan accordingly and ensure your apartment is accessible and your pets are secured.
